The Hydro Hotel reopened in June 2026 following the first phase of an exciting multi-year restoration programme. Originally established in 1875, the hotel is being carefully renewed while preserving its historic character and welcoming a new generation of visitors to Lisdoonvarna.

Yes. Our Coffee Dock proudly serves freshly roasted Calendar Coffee alongside homemade treats, speciality teas and toasted sandwiches daily from 10.00am to 4.00pm.
The Hydro Hotel is located in the centre of Lisdoonvarna, County Clare, making it an ideal base for exploring The Burren, the Cliffs of Moher, Doolin and the Wild Atlantic Way.
Doolin is approximately 5 km from the hotel and is the departure point for ferries to the Aran Islands.
